Question about Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2008: Windows
I have Intuit Point Of Sale and Quickbooks Pro2008 3 user, at my business computer. I purchase a labtop so I can do all the financials at home. I backup the company files in an external drive to restore them in the labtop, which it worked fine the first time. But I want to transfer or update more new data from business computer to laptop. I did onother backup and tried to restore it in the labtop, but it asks me if I want to overwrite the company file that already exists or if not I need to name it different. In this case I'm going to have two different company files. I want to know if I can update the company file I already have in the labtop using a backup file without overwriting my existing file? Or is there onother way to do this.....PLEASE HELP!!!
You will need to say "yes". This will install all the data from your business computer so your laptop computer data matches your laptop. The only problem comes if you have made changes on your laptop that you didn't bring over to your business computer. If that is the case, those changes will be lost when you update.
