Question about Epson Stylus CX6600 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Wireless capability? Does this computer have a way to make it wireless? Can I put a wireless adapter on it? I already have wireless internet and the printer is hooked up to my main computer. But I can't figure out how to print from my laptops? Any help or instructions would help.

You should be able to buy a USB Wireless hub which you then connect to your printer using a USB cable.

The hub will come with software and instructions that then allow your laptop/PC to connect and use the hub as if it was a wired unit.

Belkin do something like this so that's probably a good start.

My printer will not connect to my computer's wireless network.

Hi,

The first step is to set up a wireless network is that you need the equipments for connection. First of all you need a Broadband Internet connection, Wireless router, and a wireless network adapter. The router converts the signals coming from your Internet connection into a wireless broadcast. You need to purchase an adapter for a desktop computer and you must make sure that you have one adapter for every computer. If you have a desktop computer make sure that you have an USB port to plug the wireless network adapter to your computer.

How to hook up a wireless printer to a computer

Does the printer also have some "wired" interface (parallel-port, or USB-port)?

If not, then you need to purchase a router with wireless capability:

1. Connect cable-modem (or DSL-modem) to the 'WAN' (or 'IInternet') port on the router.

2. Connect one of the 'LAN' ports on the router to the network-port on your computer.

3. Configure the wireless-adapter inside the router:
* set an SSID -- the "name" of your wireless network
* encryption-level -- use 'WPA' or 'WPA2'
* a password for your network

4. Configure the wireless printer to connect to that SSID, using the password

5. On the computer, click "Add Networked Printer"

6. Print a "test" page: computer -> wired -> router -> wireless -> printer

Is the photosmart 8050 capable of wireless printing

To be able to set up wireless printer configuration, there are three basic items that you need to have. They are a high-speed broadband Internet connection (with modem), a high speed wireless router and wireless network adaptors. These three items will be used in setting up the wireless printer. Assuming that there is already an existing network in the home or office space, then all that is needed to do to make the printer available in the network through the operating system's networking wizard. If not, then the network must first be established, only then the printer will be made available through that network.

Epson NX 415 is conflcting with USB wireless adapter. All will be good then USB wireless adapter cannot find the network & therefore is not connected to the other computer or internet. I am not trying...

Try putting it into another USB port.

If that doesn't work you may need to check in device manager and then expand the USB contoller tree, right click and go to properties, click on the resource tab and see if any have conflicts, if you have conflicts you may need to get an expert to look at this for you as you may need to change the IRQ settings.

HOW DO I USE A WIRELESS PRINTER WITH NO ROUTER. I WANT TO PRINT FROM TWO COMPUTERS, THAT BOTH USE DIAL UP INTERNET

You can attach the printer directly through USB cable to your computer and print, or you can connect the printer and your computer to the same wireless network and then print using the wireless and your connection.
Internet is not necessary, only a communication path needs to be established. For this whether its your neighbor's wifi network, your own wifi network, a usb cable connection between your pc and printer etc printing will be accomplished.

No wireless capability

If your model does not have wireless capability, even if you had a switch on the machine, if there is no internal wireless card you can't make this wireless. My suggestion would be to purchase a PCMCIA or USB wireless card that you can load to your system to make this wireless capable.

Can I print via my wireless network with HP OfficeJet 6310xi?

Nothing helps. Print servers are capable of connecting a multifunction printer for printing capabilities only. For scanning, you have to connect directly to the Computer or by a Multifunction printer with wireless capabilities.

Trying to connect desk top computer and lap top computer

There is only two ways to possibly connect both the desktop and the laptop in the network. That is to purchase a router so you can connect them both or a route with a wireless and then the laptop (Which most new ones have a wireless capability installed) can connect wireless from anywhere in the home. If you already have a Cable or DSL Modem it may have a wireless capability. Otherwise you would have to get a wireless modem. Hope this helps. Bud

Set up 2 wireless routers, 1st for printer, 2nd for internet

You should only need one wireless router for everything. The purpose of the router is to "route" multiple devices together. Your set-up should be something like this:

Modem connected to wireless router via Ethernet cable.
Wireless router broadcasting wireless internet connection.
Computer(s) connected to wireless router via cable or wireless adapter.
Computer with network printer sharing enabled.
Turn on wireless printer.
You should be able to detect the printer via Windows.
