This is caused by the biomass built up inside the tub of the machine. This can also be caused by a moldy door boot. You need to scrub your door boot between the tub and the door. Water settles in the bottom of it and molds. Once you clean this, order affresh washer cleaner for your machine. This kills all the biomass built up in the tub and removes the smell. You will put all three tablets in the drum and run on the longest hottest wash available. When this is completed your machine should smell much better. To keep this from getting so bad again... Keep the washer door cracked open between cycles. This keeps the inside from smelling. Hope this helps
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
'DL' + 'F' stands for Door Lock Fault. There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door closed' sensor. Both require a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(
Please score this solution accordingly. Thanks!
The dL error code is a door lock error. The control board will attempt 6 times to lock the door before displaying the F dL error code. This is an indication that either the door lock is malfunctioning or the control board is not responding to the door locking circuit.
Be sure the door is securely closed before attempting to start the washer. Open the door & check for clothing or something that may be stuck in the door boot area. If the door is securely closed & you still have the error code I would recommend having the door lock assembly replaced.
with panel off reach up to lock location pull down on small tab door latch will click (at this point door would pop open if it were closed ) retry operation to see if ok if code dl reappear may to replace door lock if f11 may need new control module under top rear..ck wires first ..good luck
it sounds like a faulty door switch, when you close the lid,it pushes a switch in letting the washer know its safe to spin, replace the door switch ,it is a common problem as the switch is being pushed constanly open and closed, usally held by 2 screws
DL is the fault code for door lock error and
occurs if the CCU (Cental Control Unit)"recognize" that door is unlocked.
Potential reasons for it:
- Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure - In this case it should be replaced.
- Door Lock unit is broken or removed from the door.
- Look for disconnected wires to the door Lock/Switch unit and to the CCU.
- Door Lock/Switch unit Failure
