Hi!!! it seems that you have something bloking the motor of your dishwasher or your motor is bad..good luck..If you dont have nothing blocking the motor then your motor is bad.the motor winding are not good.

Fixed! I had the issue where the cycle would start, the KUDS30IXBL8 would hum 4-5 times and then drain. Plastic folk pieces jammed in the disposer. These instructions took a few minutes (only 5 screws and a couple clips) to figure out how to take it apart, and it only took 60 seconds to put back together. Have you checked that the filters on the hose inlets are clear? Turn off water and undo hose to check, there is a small filter in the inlet. Have you checked that the outlet hose and trap is clear and that it can pump the water out? Have you cleaned all filters? The noise could be the pump blocked or unable to empty.
How long its been you used the dishwasher last time...?
If you are getting an humming noise then Sounds like the water circulator pump is stuck. The motor tries to turn it (humming noise), but cannot. So a breaker trips (self reset). Not claiming this is actually the problem, but this is what the motor turns.
At the bottom of the dishwasher remove the kick panel . Then turn on the dishwasher , and then locate the water inlet valve , it should be on the left hand side with hose going to it . the pipe might be copper or plastic or stainless steel . listen for a humming noise . If you hear a humming noise . there is no water getting to the unit . make sure the hose is not kinked and the water is turned on and clean the screen on the valve . if there is no humming it is bad water valve . ( cleaning the water valve ) remove the incoming water line and remove the screw that holds the valve in . Then remove the 90 degree fitting on the bottom . you will see the screen .
your model is pretty new. just so you know your warrenty is 1 year parts and labor. 2 years on parts. it should not cost that much money.
there are two components that start before the circulation pump.(wash noise you hear)
first sounds you hear will be the drain pump. usually rattling noises if something is in it but it can make a hum noise if something is jamming the drain propeller up. which is accessible with a T20 torx driver. take the filters out and the mesh filter. and unscrew the screw in the base towards the left. pull out whatever is lodged.
the other humming sound can come from the next component that activates is the watervalve. make sure you dont have a kinked water intake line. otherwise its a bad valve. i have had to change a few of those water valves out already but not for a hum noise on your model. you have a new style water valve. when brands make new parts we get problems fast sometimes..
A humming sound can be a failing wash motor (that drives the water pump) or it can be as simple as a blockage in the the pump area beneath the lower spray arm, under the filter.
Remove the spray arm and the filter top (screws will need to be removed)
Use a flashlight and inspect all over the sump area for debris that is blocking/jamming the impeller area. Reasemble and test with a short cycle.
If the dishwasher continues to make the same humming, it is time to replace the wash pump.
Good Luck! Post back here if you would like more guidance.
if the valve is humming and the tap is on it should fill.is there a plv fitted to the tap somtimes they fail.i had one today on an asko for not filling.remove the hose from the dishwasher and turn the hose on into a bucket to see if water comes through.the valve could still be faulty.hope this helps.
