Question about Televison & Video
A few simple things to know here---does it do that with only a DVD player etc connected to a rear input? If using a box of some type have you removed it, the set and other units from power for a while?

TV has 2 thumb screws on lower corners, loose these screws and take off lower front part, there is lamp cover under that removed lower long part at TV front, remove lamp cover, lamp is in front of you, lose its screws and pull it out.
Slide new lamp and put things in reverse order, job is done.
Lamp replacement procedure is also mentioned in User Manual of TV and if you want to download copy, click Sony Support.
