I'm sorry. I failed to tell you that it was the second battery I've tried. The spring-like part on the bottom of battery area will go down and pops back up. Thank you for your help.

The optimum solution for you would be to replace the battery. As far as the battery is not popping up with ease, after taking it out take a look at the small push up areas and see whether they are working fine i.e. the elastic spring underneath them are working fine and they are coming back and forth when being pushed down.

SOURCE: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-F707 ...No flash.

Mine started to do that too. I charged the battery and then played with it taking the battery out and placing it back in and it just started to work again. Try placing it in manual mode as in shutter or appeture, rather that automatic and see if it makes a difference. These are things i played with before it started to work again.

SOURCE: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H1 Digital camera that will not hold a battery charge

Aparently you have to use sony batteries with a sony charger. I have the same problem and have been trying different batteries because I thought what's the difference with batteries as long as they are rechargeable? I spoke with a guy at the sony store and he told me to use sony batteries with the sony charger I have. Don't know if he's talking BS or not but I'll give it a shot and see if it will hold a longer battery life. When I bought the camera it was great but now it dies really fast! I'll let you know how things turn out! Until then, if anybody else has a suggestion let us know so we can enjoy our H1's!

Card stuck in d7000 camera?

Of course you know to push in to release it to pop out. If not, then GENTLy push in and pull out with small needle nose pliers. If not, visit your local Nikon camera shop and ask for help (not the big box type.) You can also e-mail Nikon through NikonUSA.com, support.

If possible remove the unit from the dash, remove the top plate and push the cd out. If not I have removed stuck cd's with small flat nosed needle nose pliers.

Husqvarna 372xp won't start... Mysterious

I recently bought a brand new 372XP and spent the first day trying to start it as per the instruction manual with no success, never even fired once. Removed the plug to find plenty of fuel and that the plug has a good spark. Left it until the next day mainly to allow my arm to recover (& scour the internet for clues). I found a forum that said not to use the decompressor and sure enough without the use of the decompressor button it fired first go with the choke on then I reset the choke & it ran properly on the second pull. The decompressor button can be reset with fine nosed pliers or removal of the top cover by undoing three screws. Good luck it's a great saw once you know how to start it.

Fluidmaster Dual Flush Valve S2DBL won't flush.

Fluidmaster S2DBL Dual flush valve - would not flush
The dual flush wouldn't work at all. So I slid the lid off part B (lever mounting base) and found the ball end of flush cable was not in the mating hole on lever arm. With needle nose pliers I pulled and pushed the ball into the hole and slide lid back on till it snapped. Snapped B to C (handle) - problem solved!

you will need sharp needle nose pliers and a small ering pin (the part that goes thru the ear) use your needle nose pliers and grabing the ear pin pushe the pin that holds one of your wrist band then finish pulling the pin with the needle nose pliers all the way add the extra band and insert the pin with your fingers first then finish with pliers

Battery Stuck Inside Camera

Carefully drill a small hole (2-3mm diameter) into the visible end of the battery (drill as close to the flat edge as you can and in the middle to avoid the cells). Then swrew in a small screw - this should allow you to pull the battery out.

This is pretty common. Get some small pliers, which are known as "duckbill" needle-nose pliers. They're flat, needle-nose pliers which will allow you to stick the tips into the small space on top and bottom of the stuck battery, and gently wiggle it out. If it's really, really wedged in, you may pull off the end cap of the battery, if you're not careful. At that point you'd still need to remove the battery's remains, and get yourself a new one (battery, not camera). I've saved several customer's cameras this way. Good luck.
