Question about Logitech 2.1 Speaker System Z313
Just hooked up used logitech z313 speakers and subwoofer to my computer and have no documentation. Attempted to install them, the wizard did list "logitech", however, when I selected this mfr, my only options were between 2 different micorphones (?). I want to be able to control the volume level of the sub. Is that possible?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

well, if volume is fixed, you have to see if in the control program for sound, you can disable and use the headphone sound program in windows.

plug these speakers
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the sound drivers could be on it
control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select appropriate speakers or
audio you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustments there or
control panel, administrive tools, computer management, device manager, sound video and game controllers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers
hope this helps

this is just a shot in the dark, but have you attempted to play around with your sound driver's configuration? I'm unfamiliar with the newer Nforce stuff, but try looking around in the sound manager Nvidia uses. It sounds like it's been configured to swap speakers. (As an example, I'm using the realtek audio manager on an asus p5k-vm board myself, and the option shows up as "Swap Center/ Subwoofer Output" in my configuration.)
