To clarify. My pics are blurry on close up shots, and files are too large to post onto an online website that I'm selling items on. I know how to take pictures, I've used a manual for years & developed my own film. But I am not able to make shots un-blurry or condense the file size. Everyone keeps saying "change your settings" but the one piece of paper I received as instructions but it doesn't state how to change the settings. To clarify. I'm sorry to have to say this but your CMOS battery connection is bad. There is basically nothing you can do other than replace the whole motherboard if it is too much of a problem.
One of my many computers is like this as well. I'm lucky in that as long as I leave that computer plugged in (it doesn't need to be turned on just plugged in), the CMOS won't reset its self. If you aren't that lucky then I would seek out a replacement motherboard.
Have you only tried this by setting the mode dial to "A"? Why not try it in "M" for manual? I assume you're following the instructions on pages 28 and 29 of the manual.
The camera comes with an internal battery. Just plug it in with the included AC adapter. The camera needs an SD card. You can pick one up at your local electronics store and you can order one online on eBay/Amazon/etc.
Nice & easy- Have your radio switched on. Push & hold the volume knob for 3 seconds. It should now say Initial volume setting (or something of the like), scroll to the right & it should say clock setting, press the volume knob again. Turn the knob to change the hour figure, press the volume knob again for minutes and press the knob again to set.
Hello, I would check if the card has a physical lock on it that slides back and forth on the card. If this doesn't work you can try to format the card with your computer.
1. Insert card to computer via card slot or card reader.
2. Locate it using the "my computer" icon or "computer" from startup menu depending on operating system. xp,vista,windows7 etc.
3.right click on card icon and select "format" option
4.After this is completed try to format in camera
5.If this still doesn't work make sure memory slot in camera is clean debri could cause reading errors.
6. If possisble try using a different card to see if it works. Do this to try to isolate the problem
Hope this helps
If it was set to one of the three manual WB settings & the lighting changed [fluorescent tube to incandescent light bulbs, this will happen & all you need to do is either re-WB with the new light, or set it to auto & let the camera figure it out itself.
