It seems that either your cord has a problem here. Also check that your connection is not loose and in the display properties the output is properly set at Large Projection Screen. But most likely it looks like a loose connection or a cord itself.

If you put in a generic lamp--this WILL happen. Toshiba sets do NOT like generic lamps. And vapor lamps often do not show physical signs of going bad.

On any tv, first you must have two feeds coming in. That means either your tv must have two video cards, or your cable/antenna box must have two in order to se PIP. From there is a peace of cake... you push one button on your remote control and ....voila. Most tv's will have two video cards, one tor terrestrial antenna and one or more for cable/dish,.

Look in owners manual pages 28-35, pay special attention to page 31 and make sure the antenna is connected to ANT-DTV input. Good Luck, big IRISH.
