Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause this problem

computers need all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end to be able work properly

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail check all electrical power input and extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working

also check the Cmos battery and computer RAM modules make sure they are securely seated with no dust built up or in the sockets

hope this helps you

Blue screen windows problem

Hello Sir, Hi, the blue screen is commonly caused by a bad memory module. you may need to buy replacement memory modules, ask a computer shop if they have a module for your Mini, and have them replace the it. If the problem still persist, reinstall your Operating System. thats it.

My dell inspiron 1720 keeps rebooting. Pressed

Yes. You'll need to replace the hard drive with that error code.

No matter you can't use that computer without replacing the hard drive.

If you have a warranty for the computer contact tech support for your dell, give them the error code you have
and they will immediately replace your hard drive.

Re seating the hard drive won't fix it.

Hope this helps!

I NEED HELP

I think i have found an answer and it will probably be annoying to most people. I think it's the internal Hard Drive that is messed up. Follow these links below:

http://www.fixya.com/support/t825165-idk

http://www.fixya.com/support/t1046155-black_screen_death_ps3

two different threads, same problem, same answer.

Your best bet (if you're in the UK) is to get a 320GB hard drive from play.com for a mere £50. That is quite cheap compared to other similar hard drives.

Playstation 3 gets stuck on wave screen no logging menu help

This is usually caused by one of two things:

1) If the wave is still moving but you do not get a menu, then it is most likely the hard drive is having problems. Try taking it out and booting the system to see if it continues past the wave screen...then you will know for sure.

2) If the wave is not moving (frozen) on the screen, then it is probably a problem with the GPU and will need to be serviced.

If it is under warranty, I would send it in. Taking out the hard drive will not void the warranty, but taking apart the console will.....Hope this helps...

To solve code error 0146 and 0148

Both of these are hard drive errors. Error 0146 is a failed hard drive or bad drive sector, and 0148 is that thew machine is no longer detecting the hard drive. Basically, your hard drive has failed and will need replaced. Replace the hard drive and you will be set. The best place I've found to buy hard drives is at pricewatch.com, they have the best prices on the market.

Error E602-001

The hard drive does need to be replaced and must be done by an authorized Canon service tech (like me) who has access to the system software. The system software ( or firmware) is installed on the new hard drive using Canon's Service Support Tool. Check here to find your local authorized Canon dealer.
