The trans axle in the transmission has too much play from wear. It works like a rear end in a rear wheel drive.Excessive wear there will give you that kind of vibration. It could be wore out.

when did you have your tires balanced last. If it has been awhile have them re-balanced. Your description sounds like you may have thrown a weight.

Vibrates when accelerating. Vibration is particularly violent between 60 and 80 mph.

You may have a bent rim or a bad tire, i would have the tires checked on a balancer and make sure they watch the tire for a hop, it may just also need balancing.

Bring in the car to a PROFESSIONAL shop. Mention your problem & ask about a wheel balance, alignment & make your problem clear before any work is done. Mention bearings etc. Ive dealt w millions of csrs at my own private shop & that would be your best approach. NO JIFFY LUBE TYPE SHOP

Car vibrates above 40 MPH

your wheels more than likely needs to be balanced one or more are out of round if you had the tires rotated before the alignment this would make the vibrating more noticible.but balancing should solve your problem.

Mycar has a vibration problem at 15 45 and 60 mph. even after new tires, alightment and balance.

you may have one of the cv-axle goes bad. jack one side of a time, put parking brakes on.
start the car and put in drive run up to speed and feel the vibration, the side has more vibration is the one that goes bad

50-60 mph vibration may be as simple as tires being out of balance or an unevenly worn tire(s)

Front End shaking

Most likely with this problem is the front tires. The tires maybe " out of balance " or " out of round " causing the vibration at certain speeds.

Vibration from 45-60 mph..new michlin tires ,aligned and balanced

have the steering rack checked for excess play, also have all the front end bushing checked, this is a common cause of this type of problem, it is the front end that is doing it, finding the worn part(s) is the job that needs to be done to correct this.

I have the same issue - but notice its worse when you accelerate hard in 5th. I have changed all the ball joints, bearings and track rod ends but its still there. From trawling the various forums I'm starting to think I need to change the suspension arms and top strut bushes. 100K
