I'm using a Time Warner remote as a universal for my TV but when I go to change channels, it just lights up the CBL button and doesn't change the channel. Can I program it to my TV or will it

Hi, you need to de-activate the "programming channel control lock" option. You can see instructions in the manual for the remote. They are as follows:

  1. On the remote control, press CBL once; It will blink once, Press and hold SETUP until the CBL key blinks twice.
  2. Enter 9 7 3. The CBL key will blink twice.
  3. Press CH- once. The CBL key will blink four times.
Now the remote control will provide TV and VCR channel-control capabilities while in the TV mode.
for any other information with programming this remote:

Unfortunately the bandwidths of remotes often crossover. You can put tape over the ir sensor on the ac.

My problem was,my wireless connection is unsecure, how do i secure my wireless connection?

1) Open your Internet Explorer program or any other web browser.
2) In the Address Box at the top of the browser window, type http://192.168.1.1 and then click on Go, or press the Enter key on the keyboard. A window should appear in the center of the screen asking for your User Name and Password.
3) Leave the User Name box blank. Type admin in the Password box, then click on OK, or press the Enter key on the keyboard.
Note: To change the password from admin to a more secure password:
1) Click on the Administration tab when the Linksys Wireless Router Setup page appears.
2) Type the password you want in the Password:box next to Local Router Access.
3) Click on Save Settings.
4) Be sure you remember or write down this password and the encryption password in step #13 below.
4) The Linksys Wireless Router Setup page should appear.
5) Click on the Wireless tab.
6) Because some of your neighbors may also have Linksys Wireless Routers and not know how to change the SSID (the SSID is the name of your wireless network.), change your SSID from the default name, which is linksys, to something unique, such as johnsnet or myhomenet.
Caution: Do not use spaces or weird characters, such as $ % ^ & * #, in the SSID.
7) Change the Wireless Channel to Channel 1 - 2.412 GHz. (The second part of the channel is the frequency: 2.412 Gigahertz.) You can also use 11 - 2.462 GHz. Most people use Channel 6 because this is the default Channel, so you don't want to select Channel 6; use Channel 1 or 11 instead.
Tip: Unfortunately, cordless [landline] phones, Bluetooth devices and microwave ovens may use the same frequencies as your wireless networking equipment. If you suspect that these appliances are interfering with your wireless network, try experimenting with different channels.
8) Click on Save Settings.
9) Click on Continue.
10) Click on Wireless Security.
11) Under Security Mode, click on the Down Arrow and then select WPA-Personal, unless you have an older wireless network card in your laptop which can't useWPA, in which case, click on this for instructions on setting the Security Mode to WEP.
12) Under Encryption:or WPA Algorithms:, set this to TKIP.
13) Under WPA Shared Key, type in your desired password, which should be at least 8 characters long, but not contain any spaces or weird characters, such as $ % ^ & * #.
14) Click on the Save Settings button to save the settings.
15) Click on the Continue button.

Try changing the emitter resistors near the parts you've replaced. Also when you change out transistors it's a good idea to change them ALL out..The "supposedly good" ones may be badly stressed.
If the output line to the spkr relay has more than a volt on it the amp will stay in Protect

I have my bose v1 equalizer connected to my 3375 harmon kardon the following way.....equalizer(line output..to receiver tape monitor in) and equalizer (line in....to reciever tape rec output ....i am not...

I bet it would work if you listened to something 2-channel and analog. THAT is the limitation of anything that uses a proccessor (like the 901's) and modern AVR's.

Multichannel AVR's automatically disconnect digital inputs when a tape loop is activated.

Short answer from personal experience.

There is no way around this part. Get a separate power amp for the 901's if you want to use them in a multichannel way or alongside non-901 speakers.

The reason: You can't use the Active EQ (or ANY processor) in a tape Monitor loop with anything but 2-channel stereo material. As soon as you activate the loop you lose digital sources.

Adding to YOUR particular problem is that the 3375 doesn't have a volume-controlled pre-out to feed that amp. If you want to deal with controlling the separate amp volume manually

You COULD place some RCA Y-splitter cables where the Pre/Main jumers are and send a stereo mixdown instead of true front channel to the Active EQ and thence to a separate amp, but it's not true front channel. But you would have local control of the 901 volume after you calibrate them to match whatever other speakers you use.

When did they stop making AVR's with 7.1 pre-outs? My 9-year old Pioneer has them and I have 901's, 301's and a sub going.
