Solenoid wiring for Huayi P27-1 carburetor on Generac GP5500 generator

Have a 12v solenoid at the base of a Huayi P27-1 carburetor on Generac GP5500 generator. Two bullet connectors (male, female) each are green with yellow stripe. They lead to a location near the On/Off switch but I do not see any location for them to connect. Wiring diagram is on page 74 and 75 of this service manual PDF. http://www.jackssmallengines.com/Generac-Parts-Lookup/Service-Manuals/GP%20Series%20Service%20Manual.pdf Where do the solenoid wires connect?

@ 4:18 in this video, it appears they connect only to themselves? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FRjw61RC...

Tested solenoid with 12v. No voltage = plunger up, 12v applied = plunger down (to allow fuel).

SOURCE: I am installing a 20kw Generac generat or, how

You need to pull in two yellow wires called N1 N2 for sensing 220v. One red and one white called 23 and 194 those are your 12vdc transfer wires. And then last of all your 12vdc from battery charger. Hope this helps

How can I replace carburetor?

I believe the electric solenoid is a fuel shut off. solenoid needs energized, normally with switch 12 Volts. other then float bowls are the carbs. identical, if they are switch bowls, should work. If not you will have to add switched power to solenoid, the link below looked similar to yours.

Generator runs,no power at breakers or output plug, has been started and shutdown under load. 5.7 volts on wires coming from stator. All three wires.this is on a motor home.

have the unit checked by an authorized generator repair shop
if it was operating when shore power came back on there is every possibility that the generator or inverter has been damaged from the lack of synchronization of the sine wave

Where is compression release

If you can get it running, run some "Sea Foam" cleaner through it. Sounds like the valves (reed) are gummed up... I don't think there is a compression release on this machine, but you can get the manural at: Generac Power Systems The best backup generator for your home business...

Generac troubleshooting

Check that there is not a switch to activate the panel. Next, there is a fuse for the outlet panel as well or a circuit breaker. Check that. If all of that is good you will have to put a meter on all of the wiring points from beginning to end and find out where the voltage stops. Then you have found the component that went bad.

16 Kw generac no power to the fuel solenoid

Check wiring harness, solenoid should have power on cranking obviously. If you changed the board examine all wiring and ohm out the solenoid. Also did you check the old solenoid for a short? If not and it is shorted it is possible the new board has now gone. Most solenoids when they go bad, open so it isn't likely. Check wiring

Generac 43901 trys to start but get only a buzzing sound

The buzzing sound is most likely the started solenoid chattering due to low battery voltage, change the battery and try again. If it still does it make make sure the engine is not seized and can turn over. Then measure voltage going from the solenoid to the starter, if it is very low change the solenoid

Generac gp5500 wil not start

How old is the fuel? The carburetor likely needs to be cleaned from gummy residue. Check this video for step-by step. You will need 8mm and 10mm sockets to take off the air filter housing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FRjw61RCgk
