Question about EliteGroup K7SEM Motherboard
I have a dell studio model laptop.
my laptop was all fine till yesterday.i can not hear songs from my laptop now. perhaps i ignorantly changed sone settings and now the speaker icon shows that "no audio output device is installed?"

and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Acer

Try the VLC Player. It comes with drivers and codec. I've seen it solve many sound and audio issues.
Try using VLC as your player. Go to www.google.com and
in the search box type "download vlc" (without the quotes).
Look for the Video Lan download from site www.videolan.org/vlc Download
and install it. It downloads and installs in 3 minutes or so. It's
a very fast player, smooth and it can play just about any type of dvd formats
and media. It's totally FREE.
Maybe your speakers on the laptop are bad or the
cable that connects it to the motherboard is loose. You will have to
take the laptop apart to see. You can always buy a set of usb speakers
that plug into your usb port. Try Tiger Direct at:
