I sync my ipod and a thing poped up that said it could not sync because it didnt have the right file. Now my ipod is frozen. Its not on screen lock, or the other thing, but no matter what button i press it doesnt do anything. The screen says "synchronizing do not disconned" and it has the arrows in a circle frozen and the screens lit up. How do i fix this?
Try pushing down and holding for at least 5 seconds the Menu button and the center Select button, at the same time. This should force your iPod to restart and it should eventually again be discovered in iTunes. Using the Restore option aftwerwards in iTunes is adviceable, at least make sure your iPod has the last version of its software. Good luck!

Open iTunes and plug in your iPod. On the left sidebar there should be your iPod name (If you can't find the sidebar, go to iTunes menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar), go to your iTunes playlist and drag the songs you want to your iPod. For all of the songs, go to your iPod music library, even if you don't have songs, and on the bottom there should be a blue-ish bar. There might be a box saying "Autofill from iTunes library" click that ONLY if you want ALL songs from your iTunes to your iPod.

Test the songs that are not playing on the iPod in iTunes and see if the original file is still playable on iTunes if the song still plays re-sync your iPod could be when iTunes copied the song it must have failed or timed out, if that fails re-syncing try restoring you iPod Nano i have had this problem before and I just re-synced and it worked fine!
only 3rd generation iPod nanos can play video, and the video must be mp4, you can use itunes to sync video to ipod nano, just follow those steps: 1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library. 2. plug in your iPod Nano to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod Nano as a device. 3. Select your iPod Nano device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply"
Below is a URL that you can copy and paste into your browser bar. It will take you directly to the iPod manual that will teach you every thing you need to know about syncing and deleting content on the iPod. :)
it seems to be the file is not found on ur hard drive..
just check whether u can play those files on itunes..
if not try adding those files again and then try to play those in itunes... once u confirm that those files work fine on itunes. u can sync the ipod..
What seems to have happened is that either iTunes or the iPod folder has become corrupt. To solve this, download the very latest version of iTunes, install it, connect your iPod. If it wants to update the software on your iPod do this. Then on the main ipod page on iTunes click the button that says Restore. Choose the bottom most option if given any then go ahead and restore. You should now be able to sync as normal.
HI, Ipods don't work like normal flash drives. They can only work by syncing them. You cannot find or delete the songs from the ipod or from the drive that it appears in. To remove a song from your ipod you need to go into itunes, and locate the playlist which is being synced to your ipod. Then find the song and remove it from the playlist. Then you need to plug in your ipod and press sync again. Hope this helps
