Ds i have a r4 which already has games loaded onto

Insert your sd card into the computer/laptop using the sd card adapter and open the file then click on the file named games. Downlaod your games you want from online sites and put them into the folder named gamnes.here you can also delete the already existing games or even add music by creating a new folder called music not in the games folder though.

My ds just "hangs" on the loading screen? I have down loaded a few new games on the chip? should i delete old ones then see what happens

Your best bet is to keep the games folder and delete the other files on the sd card and download them again from here :< http://www.r4official.com/download/r4_v1.18_kernel.html >and extract them straight onto the sd card.

NDS TT

Try format the microSD memory to FAT then download again the system files and test again the card.
If not working then you have a defective card so try to find help from your seller or a method to make the card work again.
