I have a T-mobile simcard that has'nt been used in awhile. The last I checked it, i could'nt retrieve any of my contacts. Is it possible for me to unlock any blocks that my card may have. Actually, will my contact information still be on my card after such a long delay in using this card? And how do I go about resolving this. My main concern is my phone numbers.
On many phones, you can import contacts from your SIM card. Simply pop it in, find the menu (may be under settings or contacts somewhere) and import the contacts. The SIM should hold them indefinitely.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. goodluck!

Your mobile is locked with some network provider. So whenever you insert a other country network your mobile displays the message like "simcard invalid" .This sim lock can be removed using the codes. If you need get the unlocking service from Superunlockcodes.com .Through this you can unlock your mobile easily.
Hi,a PUK code is for your simcard and not your phone,
Another sim will work ok in the phone,
Your simcard has been blocked due to entering the wrong pin code 3 times, you need to contact your simcard/network provider who will be able to supply you with the PUK code to ublock your simcard, there should be no charge
- Some network providers have an online automatic service for retrieving the PUK if you check on their website,
You enter your mobile number and the PUK code is generated
It sounds like you've had problems writing a custom ROM to your phone. You have done it correctly using the CID unlock. Are you using the same WM6 ROM that you have done before?
Firstly, turn off your XDA Orbit. Then hold down the voice recorder button on the left side of the phone Then press and hold the power button on the right side of the phone, whilst still holding the voice button on the left.
This should get you into "bootloader mode" which will display a screen with red, green, blue and white stripes - yu should now be able to instlal your ROM using the RRU from the computer with USB connection
If that is not possible, you can install the ROM from a microSD card if you first format the card into Fat32 file system from your computer, then copy the NBH file from your ROM to the microSD card. You will need to rename the NBH file from the ROM to ARTEIMG.NBH for this to work.
Enter bootloader mode and you should see a prompt to press the volume button downwards to start the ROM installation process.
See this page for more information on the MicroSD ROM installation: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_SD_Card_Flashing
first remove the sim card and then switch on the phone... then choose antenna on... after a few seconds you will see emergancy only on your screen ... turn off your mobile and insert the sim and switch it on again ... this solved my problem ... but this is not working on my cell now..
