My mouse a Logitech M-RCE95 will only work if it's a few inches from the receiver(guess that's what it's called? The part that plugs into the USB port!).Anyway, I have tried new batteries but...

I had this same problem and of course it wasn't a driver problem for me. I had to almost take the mouse and receiver apart, before it started working... which made me assume it was dust or some other particle getting into the receiver and/or mouse. Now it is working again. Then I clicked the connect button on each one and it worked.

My wireless Logitech mouse stopped performing. I changed batteries. the red light comes on even before I changed the battery. I have had it about 3 months. Wal Mart told me to look on the back of mouse. ...

So much for Wal-Mart tech support.
If your mouse is not working, first check the batteries to be sure they are good.
You wireless mouse has a USB "antenna" or sending unit. It may have a button on it that says "connect." If so, push it.
The mouse itself has a little button on the bottom that says "connect."
Push that one next. It should now work.
If it doesn't, switch USB ports and try again.
And no, we don't charge for this answer.

Stopped working.

Hi,
You don't have say in details. but I'll try to solve your problem. If both are not working then detach them both and replugged again to the system. Then reboot the system. If it doesn't work then check the device manager settings and external device settings in Bios settings. If those device are wireless then check first the receiver battery and change the battery. Better if you can place another set of keyboard & mouse to the system to confirm that there don't any problem or not getting hang the system. If it doesn't solve your problem then go to the nearest service center for repair or purchase a new.

Trying to use cordless mouse again, forgot how, changed batteries, what else is there todo????

Go to control panel; click on Mouse and open. This will show you if the computer is reading the logitech. If you were using another type of mouse before you tried to again use the cordless, you may have to reinstall.

I can't find the compartment to replace battery on 220 logitech

The battery cover release is located on the bottom of the mouse near the end. Push the button and the top will pop off so you can have access to the battery. When finished replaceing the battery just push the cover back on.

My wireless logitech mouse stopped working

This may seem weird and maybe not what you're looking for but- I have the same problem with my logitech mouse occasionally. The only thing that I have found that works is, I unplug the mouse and plug in my spare wired mouse. Usually after I use the wired mouse for about 2 hours I can plug in the logitech mouse and it works again. Sorry I don't have better advice for you but I know how aggravating it is and this works for me. Gook luck.

I have a Logitech wireless mouse that I cannot seem to get working on the computer i have a logitech cordless mouse JNZ201962 which i cant seem to operate even thou it says the drivers are installed

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

Logitech wireless usb mouse not working

just see the bottom side of the receiver. you will fin a hole. clean the hole by blowing in the air. if this didnt work lust open the receiver(be careful not to break it, use plastic card or credit card on the side to open the hooks) and put 2 drops of white petrol on that part and leave it for one minute, then wipe it with cotton.

cheers...

i was also having the same problem but solved it with the help of logitech tchnical department...
