Freezer freezing great, Fridge running warm

In the freezer side there is a panel in the back. behind the panel are the evaporators. over the evaporators are heaters you will find one of then broken from water dropping on it the bottom one was broken on mine. put a fan to the freezer and thaw it out. get the model and serial numbers and look on ebay.com. or there is a place called http://www.repairclinic.com/
These are not hard to change but above all UNPLUG THE FRIG OR THEY MAY PUT YOU IN ONE.

Hello Nelson, you will have to take it to get it fixed by a fridge serviceman or have him called out. The only other is to get a new one.

I have a Kenmore Side by side Refrigerator grab n go style door Model # 72063. The refrigerator is cold but the freezer is not freezing. Ice maker isn't making ice either. Could anyone tell me the part number for the compressor start relay? Thanks!

there is a flap in the refrigerator side usually near or behind the light bulb the freezer side is thermostatically controlled with the compressor being controlled. On the refrigerator side the cold air comes from the freezer side. when this flap is open the refrigerator will cool continuously, Check the flap or the duct assembly

Change the water control valve because it is not shutting off once the ice maker is full. The valve is sticking open slightly once power is off to water valve. What is the model number of your Kenmore Elite Model numbers for Kenmore most times look like this example=> 321.456789 Sea Breeze

when you open the freezer door do you hear the fan blowing?all that happens is the evaporator coil in the freezer gets cold,the evap fan blows the cold air from the freezer and into the fridge side,there are ducts on the bottom left side where the air return sto the freezer,if that's blocked the fridge will get warm,also if the fan is blowing depending on your model you could have a damper,it's in the fridge section up top where the cold air blows into,all it is is a door that opens and closes to let the air in when the fridge section gets warm and then it closes when it's cold enough,if the damper is bad it won't open and let the air in,sometimes it gets stuck in the open position and things start to freeze in the fridge section.if you can't figure it out send the model number and i can see what model you have,open the fridge door,look up on the right side near the ceiling and you should see a tag with the model number.good luck and have a great weekend.also from the bottom up in the freezer,remove the second bin of food and touch the back inside wall of the freezer,if there's frost or like snow on the back inside wall of the freezer you have a defrost problem,let me know what you find.

the thermostat isn't cycling because it's to cold in the garrage,the machine isn't calling for cold air because the garrage is so cold so the fridge isn't gonna run until the temperature starts to get warm and then the fridge will start again to keep it cold.put some heat in the garrage and it will run fine

Check that the condenser is not iced up and check that the air ducts are not iced up. Easiest way is to deforest the s/s entirely. If the Fridge is the problem and the freezer is OK then also check the electric shutter valve at the rear top of the fridge compartment on the side next to the freezer. This is where the cold air is sent into the fridge compartment by the cooling fan and air ducting. These do have a tendency to ice up and then breakdown so they stay shut and the Fridge keeps warm or they stay open and the fridge ices up and freezes the contents. Contrary to beliefe these types of FF are not totally frost free.
