I recently picked up two Braun slide projectors, Paximat 1950E Duo. They work together with a cord remote-Paximat Duo that makes them work alternating by moving onto left or right projector. They work

My guess is the sleeve bearings in the fan motor need oil. I use teflon based oil.

What is the description of the lamp? Braun's current catalog numbers for lamps are 80231 for the 150W 24V and 80232 for the 250W 24V. If you need a different lamp you should bring the old lamp to a camera store and let them look it up from the bulb manufacturers.
