Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
I have a wireless internet setup and it was connected at one point but has since not been able to connect. I have two computers that are not connecting despite having full internet strength.
If you get a 'Limited connectivity" on you wireless connection on your laptop, it means that the wireless card on your laptop probably did not get an IP address from the wireless router.
To fix this problem, right click on the wireless icon on the Task bar and then click Repair.
This will force the wireless router to issue a IP address to the wireless card on the laptop.
Also try resetting the wireless router by turning off the power to the wireless router for a few minutes and the boot up your computers.

I agree with JonwVBFL, it sounds like the DHCP server is not enabled on the router. You can enable this using the administrative web interface on the router (http://192.168.1.1). The default username is admin with a blank password or vice versa.

you can use the installation CD and log into the router configuration or type either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0 in the browser..the default login and password are admin and admin or admin and blank(no password)once you are in the settings go to the wireless security and configure..you have lot of options there..

Open your web browser. Type in 192.168.1.1 into the address bar A dialogue box will pop up. Leave the username field blank and the password is admin. Once the webpage is displayed, scroll down until you find Local IP Address. Change this to 192.168.2.1. Scroll down and click save settings. Now attempt to access the intnernet.

log into the WRT54G wireless router and ensure that you do not have it set up for only handing out 4 IP addresses also check the laptop to see if it is set to have a DHCP or static IP address, if it has a static IP and your network is dynamic then this is why it wont connect.
if this resolves your issue and you are happy with the answer please grade me accordingly.
