Question about D-Link AirPlus DI-524 Wireless Router
My DI-524 router doesn't seem to be working. When I try to install the router, it tells me it can't connect to the internet. The status light blinks, which I'm not sure if that's good or bad. the WAN light lights up and blinks rapidly (as if it's connected to the internet) and the # 1 port (where my desktop is connected) is a solid light. Also, the WLAN light doesn't light up at all, so I can't get any wireless. Thanks for any help
You may may need to configure your D-Link to use your type of internet! Try following the Quick Install Guide which can be found here: ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/di524/Manual/DI-524_manual_06292005.zip The WLAN light doesn't come on probably because you have the wireless disabled, which can be re-enabled once in the configuration for the wireless(in the document mentioned above) If you are having any difficulty following the guide or have folloed the guid and still can't connect, please get back to me regards, babb
