Upright whirlpool freezer make loud noise when it comes on

This noise is the fan motor going bad because a bearing is worn out. You need to replace the fan motor before the compressor goes out.

Air conditioner fan is making a loud noise

1. Could be a caught foreign object between A/C (air conditioning) fan and cooling radiator, producing this loud noise.
2. Could be a damaged fan blade, mowing the cooling radiator.
3. Could be a loud noise comming from the fan's electrical motor.
4. Could be a broken off fin (small wing) of the cooling radiator, striking the A/C fan, producing this loud noise.

GE Refrigerator GSS201EPWW is making a loud noise

This is the fan motor making noise but the fan motor is probably ok. The main board supplies voltage to the motor and can cause it to make strange noises.

Noise (more detail)

I think I answered this in an earlier post.

The noise is the fan banging against the motor housing. It's not a defective motor, it's a poorly designed motor.

The solution is to shim the motor mount so it is slightly out of level which will keep the fan from bouncing off the motor housing.

The reason Samsung won't service is they don't understand the problem. I've seen this a half-dozen times.

Trust me -- SHIM THE MOTOR MOUNT!

Freezer fan noise

Remove the freezer panel to access the fan motor. Look for any obstruction around the fan or blade. Ice, misplaced wire etc.
Check the fan blade. Sometimes they slip down the shaft too far.
If you find none of these issues, replace the fan motor.

Loud noise

When the motor bearings start to go bad, they will make a loud noise. Some motors if a piece broke off of the fan, then it also will make a loud noise. You may have to replace the motor.

Fixed amber light - start, shut down itself and restart itself Hello, Yesterday morning, I have installed a second screen linked to my graphic card. I tried to install a 3rd screen on the VGA motherboard, and it didn't work so I take it off. I could work on the computer with the 2 screens all day long. I left my office and the screensaver started. When I came back, I couldn't started my computer and my screen didn't light on after moving the mouse or writting on the keyboard. Then, I shut down my computer to restart it. Here is the problem. 1) The power light was fix and amber, the ventilation works. 2) 2-3 seconds later, it shuts down itself for few seconds 3) And it restarts itself. However, I still have the fix amber light and the screen is not activated. I checked the wall plug, I reduced the number of device on the trailling socket. I removed and reinstalled from the motherboard the RAM memory card and my graphic card. I tried with only one screen. But I still have the same problem. Do you have any ideas about what the problem could be: - Is the motherboard over? - Is the graphic card over? - Is the power bloc over? How could I evaluate which component is not working correctly? Thanks for your precious help. My configuration : - Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200(2,33GHz,1333MHz,4Mo) - Windows Vista - Cordon d'alimentation : Européen 2M - Carte graphique : 256Mo DDR2 ATI Radeon HD 3650 (pleine hauteur, sortie DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort,Double affichage)
