sounds like an issue with the spark module, altough that module tends to be really relliable.i would try removing pawer to te unit. checking the outlet for proper grounding, and replugging unit see if that works for you

SOURCE: Whirlpool Super Capacity 465
I have the same problem intermittently on my Super Cap 465. After reading the following quote from another site, "There have been cases where radio waves, electronic signals and sometimes something as strange as dimmers in lights have caused some weird problems with some computer panels in stoves like these", I tries turning off lights that might be on the same circuit and wouldn't you know it, the oven igniter circuit worked.

check the burn head, there is a tube from the ignitor to the burner head. that is where the gas get ignition. now look at the burner head, there should have 2 small pin hole align with the tube. use a paper clip clean out the hole.

Hi, It sounds like the ignitor has gone bad. Remove the floor panel in the oven and locate the ignitor fastened to the burner. There should be 120V going to the ignitor harness.
If you have voltage but no ignition, change the ignitor.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Tips for a great answer:

The problem is usually the igniter not reaching the correct amp draw .When the igniter does not reach the correct amp draw it may allow the gas valve to partially open or not open at all. The igniters are inexpensive and easy to replace. This video will walk you thru the correct procedure for testing an oven igniter. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.
