SOURCE: SENCO MODEL-IV how to set nail depth

I went to the Senco site and they don't list the model IV. I would suggest that you go to Senco.com and type in your model number and you can download a manual for all their tools. They didn't really have that many tools that you could set the depth on from what I can remember.

Why does my Senco SN 901 XP frame nailers driver stay forward?

not sure what powers the senco if it works on combustion or air could be damage O rings. Another possibility is a trapped nail under the blade. Have seen where a nail has not been driven out of the magazine but has bent and points down the magazine close to end of gun. What happens is the blade drives over the nail but becomes trapped between nail and roof of the nose assy. Probably need to strip the gun a little.

What degree nails

Hi, Senco 601's use a 34 Degree Strip nail. Easiest way to remember is this when thinking of Senco strip nailers:
601 and 651 are 34 Degree clipped head nails
602 and 652 are 20 Degree FULL round head nails

My senco frame nail gun isn`t working

First get an exploded view of gun and parts list and numbers from senco.com,,take nail gun apart,,,take a good look at the rubber bumper stop to see if it is broken,,look at the driver nut to see if it is tight,,,,you can go to juldan.com once you have gotten a list of the worn parts,,,juldan sells complete o ring kits along with nearly all parts needed for your repair

My old Senco SN-IV just blows the driver out when air is plugged into it, and does not cycle through a complete cycle, what coud be the problem?

This is most likely caused by either a faulty trigger valve or the ring on the outside of the cylinder is bad.

SENCO SN-IV LB3500 Seal leaks air

The old seal was origionally the same as the new one, a white nylon, however over time the seal breaks down and looks like hard wax. The new seal may be installed by heating with hot air gun till plyable and gently streach over lip. While the gun is open, lube with nail gun oil. the piston should not slide down the cylinder under its own weight, if it does, replace the piston oring. Diagram available at senco.com
