Question about Computers & Internet
I received an email attachment on gmail from a client that will not open. It says "This attachment is a MAPI 1.0 embedded message and is not supported by this mail system." How can i fix this so it will open on windows 7?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You are better off not playing the game as they usually contain some form of malware.
To possibly infect yourself you by playing the game will need to change the security settings for macros in excel. This is usually located in the Tools menu. Set it for the least restrictive setting, but you have been warned, you will be infected with malware. If not with this game then in the near future.

SOURCE: Default Mail Client
Have you ever had Outlook configured correctly to access your email server and download messages?
It sounds like you have set outlook as the default email client but you have not yet configured the email account settings within outlook so that outlook knows how to connect to your mail server online.
Please refer to this link or this link for instructions on how to do this.
Check the programs tab of Internet Options in control panel and make sure Outlook appears as the default email client.
If you follow the instructions in this tutorial you should be able to enter your administrative account and ensure that the Office Diagnostics program runs with sufficient privileges...I believe that will correct this error message...
If not, If you have correctly configured your email accounts within outlook and outlook is set as the default, please see this posting and the recommended change to correct the situation.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

SOURCE: Hi, When I launch Windows Mail,
It sounds like you have a corrupt email file. Try this.
Open an explorer window and do a search for your OE account name - it will lie in a nest of folders something like local settings\outlook express - there may be anothe folder with a string of gibberish [ i dunno exactly cos i moved mine out of the sys vol and gave it a sensible path... ]
Open your account folder and rename the sent and outbox folders to Sent Items.dbx.old and Outbox.dbx.old...
You will see that OE will generate new, clean folders to replace the lost ones. Now try an email. If you only have junk in the old folders and everything is fine, just delete them. Now if your issue is solved by this, and if you really wish to read/keep the text contents in those two renamed folders keep in mind that they are corrupted, so DRAG them into a new notepad.... scroll away and copy sections you want. [note that your pics in there are text-based also...[ all the pixel info is in text characters] isn't email a wonderful thing?
Let me know if that solve the problem

"Scan to email" feature is dependent upon the TWAIN and MAPI supported applications. TWAIN and MAPI (Message Application Programming Interface) are standards that relate to "Scanning" and "Scan to email" features respectively. Applications have to support these to make use of HP Director. Not all email accounts are MAPI supported applications. The following are the ones which satisfy the MAPI criteria.
Microsoft Outlook Express 6
Microsoft Outlook Express 5
Microsoft Outlook Express 4
Microsoft Outlook 2000
Microsoft Outlook 98
Microsoft Outlook 97
AOL E-mail Version 8
AOL E-mail Version 5
AOL E-mail Version 4
If you are not using any of the above email accounts, you need to configure your email account with Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express to use this feature. After configuring, you can use the scan to Email feature by perfroming the following steps.
1. Open HP Director/ HP Solution Center.
2. Click Settings -->> Scan Settings & Preferences --->> Scan to... Setup.
3. Select the available destinations and add them to the front panel destinations.
4. While scanning, you will receive a window showing the scan details which contains the section "Where do you want to scan?". Select "Email".
