Question about Panasonic TH-50XVS30U 50 in. Plasma HDTV
Hi I moved my tv in another room and after that this problem came. It's like my TV doesn't read the usb connector or something - when i look for the usb on the screen there is no option for the usb. It comes like this: AV1 AV2 COMPONENT HDMI1 HDMI2 HDMI3 HDM4 TV _ _ _ _ change usually the USB comes right beneath the TV but it isnt there.

First of all connect the Direct TV box to HDMI 2 and see if it works there. If it does then the next step is to connect the DVD player to HDMI and see if it wors there. If not then connect the DVD player to the TV using the component inputs and if the DVD player works on those. If it does then maybe the HDMI interface in the DVD player no longer works as it needs to communicate with the TV.

I had the same problem and found that I was viewing the TV input instead of the composite input. Once I changed it back, the aspect setting would hold.

This is a problem with your components. You can have the components replaced with a new set which may be expensive, or live to learn using av3 only with a switch system.
