Did you disconnect from power the units connected to the inputs? I would guess either the set or something hooked to those inputs got a static hit.

SOURCE: Dead hdmi input

you are lucky both hdmi inputs aren't blown. The inputs are not repairable individually. You must take it to an authorized service center. They will probably need to replace the input board.

SOURCE: HDMI inputs don't work

No, but the HDMI interface is very sensitive to static discharge - has been a storm nearby? To prevent this from happening again i usually install to all my customers cheap splitters just before the tv, they will fry before the tv protecting it.
I'm sorry but it's time to change that board again.

Panasonic tv hdmi inputs not working

It appears that during the storm there may have been an electrical surge that damaged the electronics of your tv. If the tuner is working fine then the affected area (board) is the one that has the HDMI input sources.

My LT-37131 was damagd by lightening which came in through the Phone/Coax and destroyed the CISCO set top box attached to the TV via HDMI interface. The TV works only on composite and component connections...

Hi ydoomgm901,
All the inputs mentioned that don't work are located in the main board and the inputs working are connected on a different board, since they might not been not in use at the time of the lightening.
The main board is the one that should be replace to get the defective inputs to work.
If this is something you might want to try fixing yourself, check this link to find the main. That could be a cheaper solution in case you decide to fix your LCD.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

Help!

It is possible that the HDMI ports are blown. The work through their own circuit area in the TV set. This is a particularly complex area.

You will have to send the set to the authorized service rep for an estimate. See if your home insurance plan will cover for this type of thing. Some types of home policies will cover for this type of thing. The cost of servicing your set may be expensive. Damage from a lightning strike will not normaly be covered by warranty.
