Did you make at least one call per month on the tracfone? If not this maybe one of the reasons the call is restricted. You may have to manually receive your minutes for the month by: Pressing the menu key, when the prepaid menu appears press select. Go to redeem airtime or add airtime. If your screen displays a message scroll down and press ok until you see Card# or Airtime Pin. Enter 555 then press enter. If it says promotional code select no. Make sure you keep your safe link phone on to receive your minutes and see if that fix the problem. If that doesn't work you may have to call safe link at 1-800-378-1684.
It relates to a problem with cell phone the cell phone towers. To resolve the problem you just need to disconnect and reconnect to the tower. The easiest way to do this is to:
1) shut the phone off
2) wait a few seconds
3) turn it back on again.
If this does not resolve it just call tracphone support and they can assist you further.
