Question about Fuji xD MP3 Player
A friend gave me a 512 MB XD-picture card (Fujufilm) that she said wouldn't work for her. I put it in my Fuji camera and it says "Card Error". Does this card need to be formatted? If so, how would I format it? My knowledge of tecnical things is limited, so please, keep your advice in very simple terms! Thanks so much!
I had the same problem; formatted it on the computer; still the same. I the got this info (below) from tomshardware site and it worked for me:
1. Turn the camera on (to Photography Mode, not Playback Mode).
2. Press the Menu/OK button.
3. Move left or right until you reach the Option Menu.
4. Move up to SET-UP and press the Menu/OK button.
5. There are 4 option screens. The Format option is in screen
number 1, so you should see it immediately.
6. Move down to Format and then either move right or press Menu/OK.
