By the model I am assuming this is a shower head?

You may have to try pulling the shower head off to see why it is turning off such as something clogging it up, ect.

Water stops flowing

It sounds like the plumbing system has some type of device to prevent someone from using the hot water from a common water heater too fast for the water heater to keep up the temperature.

If you pull the silver knob on the tub spout up, the diverter located located inside will redirect water up to the shower head and when lowered it will return the water to the tub spout. It sounds as thought the diverter is not working properly. Hope this helps..

I am having 2 issues. Most importantly, my front load washer/dryer is skipping drying time. I typically wash the clothes then put dryer sheets in and use the dry only on low heat option. It starts...

Your two issues may be related. A combo washer / dryer uses a fine spray of cool water to condense moisture out of the air stream while drying. This water is then pumped down the drain. Cold water is also used to fill the softner dispenser. If the inlet screen on the cold water connection to the machine is restricted, those are two of several things which could show up. Turn cold water valve supplying water to machine off. Unscrew cold water fill hose from machine. Remove screen from inside machine, clean, re-install, re-attach cold water fill hose, turn cold water valve back on and see if performace improved.

After turning water on to 10 year old grohe shower faucet pressure rapidly drops to nearly nothing

If you spin the shower head off there should be a metal screen inside. If it is clear, Soak the shower head in CLR for about 4 hours. After 10 years even the best water supply will leave behind a build up that can plug the tiny holes.

The water comes out very slowly. No pressure.

Check for debris in shower head. Could be calcium or other mineral buildup. Has the water dept. done any recent repairs/upgrades to water meter or mains? Sometimes this can loosen buildup in pipes & send it through the valve itself thus lowering pressure or stopping completely.

No running water from my shower

Check water lines to shower and make sure that there is no blockage or water cut off to it. Valve itself could be bad also or blockage inside it.

I f it is a tub & shower unit the diverter may be bad or stuck in place restricting water flow. Some are push button on the valve or a pull unit on tub spout to send water to shower head.
Cut water off and remove to inspect for reason not functioning correctly.
Remove shower head to inspect for blockage. The srceen may be stopped up for the shower head. Remove turn water on and see if any flow comes out shower arm.

Hours after I take a shower, the showerhead will start dribbing

No, the showerhead is probably OK. My guess is that the head is relatively level, and the design of the nozzle allows water to pool inside. When you take a hot shower and turn the shower off, it begins to cool. As the shower head cools, a slight vacuum is formed, pulling air up into the showerhead. As you reach equilibrium, water is allowed to discharge as a dribble. This continues until the water has all been displaced. The fix for this is to turn the showerhead to the side, allowing the water to drain more quickly, and allow the air in. Try it.

Water heater not kicking on

Could be the water supply into the heater after the cold supply to the house has frozen up. Sounds like an ice block has moved down the pipe before the heater while the water to the shower was flowing and then got lodged in an elbow blocking the flow.
