Hello blue screen of death means you have a bad driver
somewhere on the system.

Try to boot up in failsafe mode by pressing F8 under restart
Select to boot with network support.
enter the device manager under graphic and see how old
the driver is.
You can try to renew the driver.
What does the bsod tells you ??
there is typical a failure code.
Try also the manufactures home page in seach for drivers.

If it is a ATI you can download a new driver here:

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/auto_detect.aspx

And NVIDIA:

Good luck

Disable the blue "No signal" screen from showing up?

There is no Blue screen disable option on the camera.
Since the blue screen caused by the video heads, try to clean it up by running a cleaning cassette.
The cleaning cassette helps only for minor clogs of the Drum(video heads)

My sanyo 42 inch plasma has a blue screen, i can hear the sound on the tv but screen remains blue. can u help please

Be sure your channel settings are correct and that you have proper orientation of the hook up cables. See if your remote has a video-mute if so turn it off...a video-mute will produce a blue or black screen. To be sure its not the tuner that's enter the menu screen if you can see the menu then the tuner is ok this means the down-stream video is functioning. Be sure to have all your input devices set to the correct output ports. If all check good and still blue screen then the logic section is not processing video codecs and needs servicing.

Blue screen when using VCR function

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

A blue screen is 'video muting', the player is not getting a decent video signal and rather than display distorted / noisy video, it is muted.  Initially, has a video head cleaner been tried on the camcorder?

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
