Question about Frigidaire GLTF2940ES Front Load Washer
When the wash cycle is finished and goes into spin cycle the wash only tumbles and doesn't spin. the wash comes out wet.
I just had a similar problem. The washer would just shut down prior to the high spin cycle. I had a service guy in and he had a diagnostics sheet. Did you get an error code? If you have the electronic. Turn the knob to the Drain/Spin mode and press both the "Options" and "Cancel" buttons simultaneously until all control panel lights are lit and flashing. Then turn the knob clockwise in click and the washer will then go into its diagnostics mode. With every click it should do something (i.e. fill, pump, drain, spin, etc..) continue turning 1-8 clicks. On the 9th click you should then get an error code. My code was E47, which I have already posted another possible solution. I could be either the door switch or the control panel. Remove the door switch by removing the wire around the rubber seal, then remove the 2 screws for the door switch and unplug the 3 plugs. Check the readings on the PTC (white plug on doorswitch). If the switch reads around 1500 ohms, then the problem is most likely the control panel.
To exit the diagnostics mode, the easiest way is to unplug the washer, wait 10 seconds, and then plug it back in.
The reading on my switch was 1398 ohms, which is close to 1500, so I ordered a new control panel. Hopefully, this will work.

The problem could be ,most likely is, the control knob timer,as it works ,depending on the age of the machine with a working timer like in a clock with moving wheels ,this has several notches that operate the the total control of the cycles and if one of those wheels is damaged it could not go onto the fast spin, very rarely is it the motor which has twin speeds, but could also be ,more likely timer
