First try another gadget, a lamp or something on the wall plug, to see if the point is live. Then check your washer plug, could be that the fuse in the plug has blown, check out your washer wire....

This is your inlet valve which is defective. It leaks even if the machine is off? Plug off the wall socket. Check to see if the wires are in their harness connected well. If this is not the problem change the inlet valve, it is easily done.

Locate the filter at the botton front right of washer, behind a drop down cover.
Unscrew anti- clockwise to remove and clean.
If still no go, then you need to check the brushes in the motor.
