Straps have been washe and need to know how to putr back together

Hi

The harness straps should not be removed from the carseat shell due to the safety implications of them being re-fitted incorrectly. The carseat would need to be sent to the engineers for re-fitting the harness. What country are you in and we can direct you to the relevant customer care team to discuss this with.

TOOK THE STRAPS OFF TO WASH THEM AND AM NOT SURE HOW THEY GO BACK ON

Good Evening

Have you removed the harness from the carseat? This is unfortunately not something you should do even to clean them, as if they are re-fitted incorrectly it can cause safety implications.

Please contact our customer service department on 01284 413141 (Mon - Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) to book in the carseat for chargeable repair by our engineers. Standard charge is £50 and this includes full safety checks following the repair and courier delivery of the carseat back to your address. In addition you will need to make arrangements and cover costs for courier delivery of the product into the engineers.

Good Evening

The harness should not be removed from the carseat. Incorrect re-fitting of the harness may cause safety implications so the carseat does need to be returned to our engineers for full inspection and repair work required.

Please contact our customer service department on 01284 413141 (Mon - Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) to book it in for this. Standard charge is £50 and will include courier delivery of the product back to your address. How to fit a maxi cosi cabrio car seat - note it is the old style not the new cabriofix

Hi,

To fit the Cabrio (with seat belts only), follow these steps:
Note that you will have three metallic looking blue seatbelt hooks (made of plastic) on the Cabrio. One is at the back to carseat (directly behind the childs head) and also there is one either side of the child (when seated in the carseat), these hooks are used to slip the seat belt into and therefore secure the seat.
Placing the carseat facing the rear windscreen of the car - if this is in the front seat, then ensure that your airbag is disabled if you have one. If this is not possible, then DO NOT use the front seat.
Ensure that the carseat handle is clicked into the 'carrying' position, upright.
Taking the seatbelt in your hands, slip the lapbelt through the two blue hooks which are either side of baby and then click the seatbelt into the buckle. Pull firmly so it's nice and taut, hold onto the carseat when you are pulling the seatbelt.
Whilst taking the slack with one hand, take the shoulder seatbelt and loop through the third blue hook (located on the back of the carseat) and again pull firmly whilst holding onto the carseat.
When you attempt this, practice without the baby in as this is much easier to do.

Finally, check that the buckle of your seatbelt is not resting too high or on an angle of the cabrios plastic shell, as this is considered dangerous and is called 'buckle crunch', for more information on this, please see the link below, which explains with images:

I hope this helps.
