Question about Toshiba 37BV701B 37 LED TV
The tv seems to be working perfectly fine but there is no sound coming from the tv. we checked in the settings and in the sound but it still does not work.the remote control is working very well and the channels are also coming. The only thing is that there is no sound coming from the tv. Iwas wondering if this model does not have a built in speaker and that it will only work with additional speakers. Please help with solutions

you may want to try and reinstall the driver from the manufacturers website. I had to do that with a brand new notebook as the speakers didn't work when first turned on. I'll see if I can locate a link and post again if I find it.

Go to menu on your remote control and select picture setting and try selecting "default" setting to seeif you like the color, if not adjust contrast to about two thirds of the way and brightness to your liking and color to about the middle.

SOURCE: The sound comes and goes
if the laptop is less than 6 months old you should still have warranty you could retutn it on a warranty issue before you touch anything but you could attempt some basic troubleshooting have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps
