Disconnect printer from power and from CPU/laptop. Leave off for a good minute. have paper loaded and cartridge case closed properly. reconnect to power and then CPU/laptop. attempt to print. follow instructions it provides.

SOURCE: Press Enter To Align Cartridges

open the cover, make sure your cartriges are properly seated. it will proabably still ask you to re-align the cartriges. all this does (usually) is print a page and then ask you some questions about thw eay that page printed.
also, try turing you printer off and back on. (resatarting your PC with you printer may also help somehow, but that's pure unfounded speculation based on the experience that restarting the device usually fixes it...).

10.94.00.remove shipping locks

Remove the cartridge. If the drum cover and shipping tape have been removed, have a look at the spring type contacts on the left in the cartridge area. Are they sitting properly? Pointed toward the back of the machine? Springing back into place? The spring responsible for this message is the larger of the two springs. If out of place, you will have to remove the power supply, ensure the contacts are clean. Look into the device at the area above the power supply. There are 4 springs that should be seated on 4 poles. You may have to reseat the relevant spring.

Lexmark 7600 printer cover is not seating properly after installing printer cartridge

The two hinges are attached to the back of the printer by two screws. I removed the two screws and lifted the top off, freeing the two hinges (the one on the right was broken so part of it stayed in the printer). There is a restraining line on the right side that keeps the top from coming completely free of the printer, but it can be worked around while still attached. I removed the broken pieces and the internal spring from the right side hing. The spring is what was keeping the top from seating correctly. I assume you could order a new hing, but I reassembled the printer without the spring and the top seated properly. The printer works, but I will now need to be very careful when replacing the ink cartridges because of the missing hing on the right side.

Top lid will not close after fixing a paper jam

Often times the lid will not close if the toner cartridge is out of place. Will the lid close with the toner cartridge removed? If it does then reinstall the toner cartridge and make sure that it is fully seated.

Forgot how to change ink

Turn the printer on.
Lift the lid that covers the print-mechanism.
In a few seconds, the cartridges will slide to a place where you can easily remove them, and insert a replacement cartridge.
Close the lid.

Tally t8024 error message "set drum cartridge"

The 'Set Drum" error indicated the printer is not detecting the drum cartridge as being located in the printer.
I would recommend doing the follwoing;
  1. Ensure the drum cartridge locates correctly in the printer. Remove it and re-seat if necessary.
  2. Ensure the top cover (the one that opens upwards to change the drum) shuts correctly, this cover pushes the drum into the printer.
If the above actions do not fix the problem, I am afraid the covers will need to come of the printer. There is a gear mechanism located on the left side of the printer that operates when the top cover closes.
This gear mechanism will need to be aligned with the alignment marks, it sounds like the gears will have slipped and the timing is slightly out.
