Diplomat ADP3702 cooling fan problem

The cooling fan on my Diplomat ADP3702 oven is not working. The ouput from the control pcb is ok - but no power is present on the terminals of the fan. One of the connections to the fan is a blue wire connectiong through a white rectangular ceramic component - any ideas what this is? Could this be the fault?

It could be a fuse or thermal cut out, you can test it with a meter. you should have continuity through it, if not then it is faulty.
If you do not have access to meter, then if take a piece of wire and connect it to the fan terminal and connect the other end to the origin of the ceramic fuse or what ever it is, and it should work, you are in effect bypassing the part in question.
If it still does not work then you are going to have to investigate further, or call some one in.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Newer versions of the control board software will run the cooling fans for a bit after the cycle ends, but many older models work like yours does

Maytag gas range, model MGS5770ADW,serial 34735247GG. Cooling fan comes on when temperature is set. Continues to run after cancel. Replaced control panel and igniator. Fan is still running.

I have run into this and I would bet you have a bad oven sensor.Im sure this model only has one pcb. so there is no fan board.try the oven sensor.

The fan has stopped working but if I connect it direct to the mains it runs OK 900gdo

After seeing that the fan was OK I replaced the PCB that controls the fan and this fixed the problem.
Before the fan stopped completely I had noticed that it sounded slow.
I got the part from espares but they took forever to deliver it (10 days).

Stoves 720ef fan oven cuts out after a while, then cools down and restarts......help

There are thermal cutouts for both ovens. When the fan oven cuts out, does the thermostat display and the oven lamps go out as well or do they stay on? Is the oven cooling fan working ok, i.e. does it run for about 10 mins after you turn all the controls off? Do you think the oven thermostat is working ok and not running too hot? If it is, Lakeland do an oven thermometer for about 5 pounds that you can check the thermostats with.

Diplomat Oven ADP3650 Instructions

User manuals are hard to find.
The problem I had was setting the clock on a single Diplomat oven, with no clock button. Here's my solution :

DIPLOMAT OVEN OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Diplomat single oven is controlled by two knobs and a set of buttons along the middle of the control panel.
The left knob sets the temperature of the oven, while the right knob selects the function to be performed, e.g. fan oven, grill, etc.
The buttons along the middle set the cooker clock, the start and end times of cooking, and the “+” and “-“ buttons will increase or decrease the time shown on the cooker’s clock.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OVEN WILL NOT OPERATE UNTIL THE CLOCK IS SET.
If there is any interruption to the power supply (including manually switching off at the main switch) the oven will not operate until the clock is reset.
Here’s how to set the clock:
First press simultaneously the first two buttons to the left of the control panel. They are marked as a Bell symbol (Alarm) , and a steaming Cooking Pot (Start of Cooking Time). Then immediately press the plus “+” or minus “-“ buttons to increase or decrease the time displayed. When the desired time has been reached, leave it for a few seconds, and it will remain set at this time. Any further changes to the displayed time will require this procedure to be repeated.
Hope this helps!
