CAN ENY ONE HELP ME., my phone keeps coming up yellow and saying refreshing and i need to restore my phone back to normal i cood cry right now ive tryed EFs but when i connect my phone no files come in explorer..,. and when i go to emergency
MODE and i press restore it says
error backup file not exist
I will assume that you have Boost Mobile, and not Nextel. If I am wrong, you need to put your phone on the blackberry software and upload/refresh your phone. IF YOU ARE ON BOOST, you cannot text on the 7520, the phone is not compatable completley with the iDen network.
i think i know what you mean. i had a similar problem where the cd software was different that the phones software and i had a runtime error. I had to wipe the phone clean and start over, i lost all the information on the phone. (unless u are connected to a back up system.)
i had this happen as well. for certain icons i had to have my provider refresh my phone to fix i called them to resend the service books and some of apps i replaced using the software manager on my pc.
I have just had the same problem. i was so scared that i had lost all my personal data.
my sim card was years old and as the software on the lg is new it was causing it to shut down and reboot over and over and the only way to stop it was to take out the battery.
This MIGHT help! it helped me.
Take the battery out and put someone else's sim card in (someone who has a new sim card) - they have to be the same network. (if your own sim is really new this may not help) .
put the LG back together and switch on - the phone should start new set up. if it prompts you to copy contacts to phone press no.
if this works then it is a software problem. this may be the best time to back up all your data on your computer via the lg suit.
then put your own sim back in. if the problem still happens then you need to call your phone service provider and get them to refresh your sim card - do the same process as above and this should fix it.
