you have to use atleast windows xp sp2 and the drivers will load automatically. you can also use windows vista or a mac (not sure of version for macs) if you are using one of those operating systems and still can get your tomtom to hook up, try a different usb slot. reboot your pc if your sure you have met the os requirement.bill

Is this with or without the unit being plugged in? If you're just running on the internal battery, then the battery is on it's way out. If it's happening while it's plugged in, then it's a bigger problem.
