I cant get my deskjet f2210 all in one printer to scan. it blinks a thousand times and then does nothing. I realized i didn't have the hp photosmart essential software so i downloaded it but it still...

Try installing the latest drivers from the website. To download:
1 Go to hp.com 2 Click on Support and Drives 3 Enter your product name or number, in this case just type in Officejet 8500 All-In-One 4 Hit go 5 Choose your operating system 6 Hit Next 7 Click on the link that says Driver - Product Installation Software 8 Save it to your desktop
But before Installing the Software, use the Disc that came with the printer so you can do an L3_Uninstall first.

To go for an L3_Uninstall:
1 Go to My Computer (XP), Computer (Vista and Win7) 2 Right Click on the Driver CD, The one that has the HP Logo 3 Open Util 4 Open CCC 5 Double Click on the icon that says Uninstall_L3
The Uninstall will prompt you to restart the computer once it's done. After doing so, Install the newly downloaded software.
Try scanning again, I hope this worked. :)

HP Deskjet F2210 won't install on Vista

Go to control panel/programs and features and uninstall the HP driver and all associated software.

Reboot, then reinstall the LATEST version written SPECIFICALLY for VISTA SP2. Install the driver BEFORE you connect the printer. After you install the driver if your computer still doesn't recognize the printer, leave it connected and reboot.

You should see the 'found new hardware' wizard open and automatically install the printer.

Hope this works. Good luck.

My Stupid HP Deskjet Printer Won't Install on my Gateway GT5408

The operating system as in; Windows XP or Vista.
If you don't know it, look for the My Computer icon and right-click on it and then choose 'Properties.' On the first screen it will tell you: Microsoft XP (or Vista) or even something else if it is an older system.
If it's either of those, make sure your connection between printer and PC is good, then try rebooting your PC with the printer on.
If communication between the two is OK and both the printer and PC's interface (USB, parallel, etc.) is working, Windows should recognized the printer and install at least a simple driver so you can print.
You might try the same procedure for your video camera.

I want to know if my All in one HP Deskjet F2210 All-in-One Print

What Operating system are you using?
Windows XP: Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
Windows Vista: Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features

Check if you have the OCR Software listed in there
If it is in the list:
  • uninstall it
  • run the installation CD for the printer
  • click on Install more software (or just do the recommended/easy installation)

If there is no OCR software showing in the list:
  • run the installation from the CD to install it

In summary, just make sure that the OCR software is either refreshed or reinstalled.
