I am trying to gamesharing on my psp slim and fat.I have game in both of them but it says. searching for players please wait.... channel automatic. both wlan buttons are on but nothing is...

Hi ajisgood,
Make sure that you are in AD HOC mode. You can check this out by going to NETWORK SETTINGS (last icon on the left of your main menu).
If the game installed on both PSP's, you can also try using the Multiplayer mode inside the game. Select the game, then go to Multiplayer mode and then select HOST game. Do the same thing on the other PSP, but now choose SEARCH game instead of HOST. Of course, both wlan should be activated before doing this.
I hope everything works out. All the best to you.

I want to connect it on line

Okay first be sure your WLAN switch is on. Found on the left side of the PSP

1. Settings

2. Down to Network Settings
3. Infrastructure Mode (NOTE: Ad Hoc is for connecting 2 PSPs)
4. New Connection
5.
Name your connection then Scan (much quicker)
6.
It will present you with different connections. Find yours and click X.
7. If you have a WEP/WPA key enter it after choosing yours.
8. Press Easy.
9. Save your settings and Test your connections.
10 Cheers :)

On my PSP I can't play with him

On the left side of your PSP, there is a switch
b1f29df.jpg
This is the WLAN switch. Move it up to enable or down to disable it.

If thats not the problem, you may need to change your settings.
  • On the home screen (the place were you first turn on your psp without a disk), go to settings.
  • select "Network Settings"
  • then "AD Hoc Mode"
  • Select "automatic" for the channel and save.
If that doesn't work, your game may not be compatible with Ad-Hoc. Look for games that have Ad-hoc on the back of the case.

Using psp as compter

Getting online with your PSP is very simple. First, you must be in range of a Wifi hotspot (wireless local area network). You can adjust network setting to connect to an access point such as a Wi-Fi hotspot or the router on a wireless home network and save the network connections data on your PSP®. Up to 10 connections can be saved.

Once in range of the hotspot, go to "Settings" menu, >> "Network" Settings and press "X" Button. Select "Infrastructure Mode" or "Ad Hoc Mode" and press X Button. Set up the "New Connection". For details about Infrastructure Mode set up, or Ad Hoc Mode set up, visit us.playstation.com. hope this helps.

Psp

Hi tony27,

You go to the tools menu and select networking and setup the connection as AD-Hoc mode.  That should do it, its that easy.  Both PSP need to setup the connection as ad-hoc.
