SOURCE: Items sometimes freeze on refrigerator side of unit - model GSS25LGMA

It is most likely a bad damper motor.  This is where the cool air comes out into the fridge section.  On this model it is a fairly common problem and comes a whole assembly.  The part # is WR49X10091 and will cost anywhere from $100 to $122.  Knowing this model I would bet this is your problem.  If the damper is bad and stuck open cold air will just keep blowing in.  It is suppose to open and close based on the temp setting.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

SOURCE: Ge profile side By side ice maker water leak

This sounds like the float mechanism has gone bad. Remove it and have a look. It may be the float or the switch on it that is bad. There is also a solenoid valve. Parts kits are available. Shut off the water first!

SOURCE: water dispenser not working but ice maker does

The water line freezes inside the freezer door. There is now an add-on water line heater you can install to thaw the line.

SOURCE: ice maker problems

I'm not sure what you are reffering to as an element, but it sounds as if maybe the water valve does not shut off completely and is causing a large blob of ice to form. This can be caused by impurities in the water supply to the refrig, causing the valve to not be able to seal 100% when it should be off. Install a new water inlet valve and put an in-line filter in before the water gets to the refrigerator. As this is generally caused by your water supply (and thus is not a fault of the refrigerator) is really should not be covered under warranty, but most service providers will let that slide and submit a claim if it is within the 12 month warranty period. I'd try a local dealer (in the US, try http://www.geappliances.com/buy/) for fastest service. (if you didn't buy from them, make sure you let them know, and have a copy of the sales receipt to prove date of purchase)

What would cause my Kenmore Coldspot ice dispenser to freeze up where the water enters from the tubing into the ice maker itself?

Small leak in the tubing. remove ice-maker, cut tubing about half an inch back and reconnect ensuring the tubing is completely on the ice-maker.

Kenmore Coldspot side by side. The ice maker will

Hello. You will need to replace the icemaker. The swicth in the head is causing the arm to stay up and is not repairable. If you can get me the model number I can get you the part number.

Trouble with ice-maker

Either the inlet valve is stuck or the icemaker solenoid is shored.

Most likely the second one.

Enter the model number on one of two websites below to get parts and diagrams for your appliance:
