Question about Vivitar Photography
I have a very old, but great Vivitar tripod - 2 of 3 feet missing. Anyone know where I can get some?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Where can I get parts?
I got from friend a Velbon Victory 550 tripod. The handle that prevent the head from tilting is missing, and so is a piece of plastic that apparently held the rod upon which the head of the tripod is placed from shaking.

ok, never used this site before and not sure I know what I am doing. Did you get your tripod fixed? I have the exact same tripod but am no longer using it.

SOURCE: tripod parts
I guess you can have a nice, personalized one made to order here: http://www.shapeways.com/model/132025/tripod_camera_plate.html but the price is going to be excessive even though S&H is gratis. As Guest says, you'd be better off buying a new tripod :-)
