Have you tried doing a restore from a previous day like the day before or somewhere close when you know you last had sound? or you may need to install drivers if you removed some. Try a restore to an earlier time then if that doesn't work come back here and post your speaker model and number I'll got into this further. Also might want to do a DXDIAG on your system and test the sound as well. to do this go into Start> Run type dxdiag press enter and let it do it's thing then goto sound at top and test and see if you hear anything if not u need drivers if you do may need to do restore also check your device manager and look for sound devices and check that they are ok and no ? marks by anything. If this helps you in any way please Rate thanks :) Good Luck Mike..

ok do the above same step for the device manager and right click on the sound device and and choose update drivers that should update them to current drivers off the internet if this does not work. i'll need your speaker model and number and also your sound device model from your computer you can find that in the dxdiag once i have these i can hook you up. also please give me the model and brand of computer you are using i'll do some searching for you :)... My BOSE (companion 2) speaker is no output sound from my comp.I tested to some other speaker and there is an output sound, power supply is good. What might be the problem?

Hi anthonybongl,

The problem could be that either you have your sound driver uninstalled by accident or your master sound control is set to mute , please check it and then you would be able to recognize the main problem.

Hope this helps ..:)

I don't know if you manually erase those drivers, but I recommend you reinstall the drivers with the setup option, then uninstall them, again reinstall them ans see if work, or depending the OS if is Xp or Vista, ?
