Question about Samsung SF-3100 Plain Paper Inkjet Fax
Good day to whom it may concern. Our fax machine was sent in for repairs because when we send or receive a fax, the paper does not feed through the scanner`s (sending) side. We received it back a couple of weeks later unfixed. We were told that the whole chassis had to be replaced because a small plastic clip broke off. (Reason being people pulling paper out when machine feeds more than one page, that maked the gears go backwards)We asked the technician to show us how & where this part is so that we can glue it ourselves. To no avail. It is at the roller on the right. Please be so kind as to assist in this matter as they want their loan fax back & we need a working fax asap. Thanking you with regards C Klopper Thatch-it cc (012) 991-3500
Hi there the thing is if you were to glue this back into place the likely hood is that the machine will not hold as there is a quite a bit of pressure within that area. The best option is to obtain a new machine as trying to fix will out way the cost of the machine.
(Sorry cannot help anymore)
