I have asked 3 questions in the last 30min but they won't post
I asked one in Books and Authors but it didn't post so I tried it again and it still didn't work. I tried it again in Polls and Surrveys but that didn't work either. Now I'm down 15 points and getting no help for it.
Re: I have asked 3 questions in the last 30min but they...
I would contact fixya support and let them know that you're being deducted points without actually posting, email them at email@example.com with a description of what's happening and they can direct you better where to go from there.
- If you need clarification, ask it in the comment box above.
- Better answers use proper spelling and grammar.
- Provide details, support with references or personal experience.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
First, when you ask the question post in the correct place I.E. if you want to know the correct firing order for a 350 Chevy v-8 engine, don't post to computer software error code section. Drill down to autos engine Chevy etc.
Second, DO NOT write in all capitals on the internet that is yelling and it offends people
Third, give enough info to research the problem if necessary.
i.e. computer won't work is not a good way to ask the question
Try my HP model 6005 boots into screen asking me to make recovery disks or I get "BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart" when I turn on the computer.
At minimum give the error and the select the correct make and model of the item so the person trying to answer your question has a place to start if they haven't ran into the specific problem before.
Fourth, do not post in multiple groups and multiple times i.e.
Your TV will not power on
Don't post to computer networking section, the auto section, and twice to Apple Mac Laptop section
You will not get the answer you want any faster, it annoys the people answering and you are labile to get your question ignored.
Google (or whatever search engine you prefer) is your friend. If you search first you might be able to fix it by yourself and then if you don't understand something, explain that you tried this link or that link and you don't understand it will make it easier
PS. These things work on any forum you may have to ask a question on
I strongly recommend you to post which email service you are using next time you post this kind of a question.
I'm posting this answer assuming that you are a Gmail user.
If you have access to your recovery mail, or phone number that you have linked with your account click on "Need Help?" and the follow the steps.
If you have no access to your recovery email, phone, or any other option
You may still be able to restore access to your account by manually verifying your identity.
1. Go to the Google Account Recovery page
2. Enter your email address and click Continue.
3. If you are asked to enter the last password you remember, click I don't know.
4. Click Verify your identity which is located under all of the other options.
You will then be asked a series of questions which you must answer to the best of your ability. If you can provide enough accurate information, you will get your account back.

I have recently received my new power supply, i was very excited for it and just finished installing it. ... those were already 100$ on both the powre supplies, i don't want to .... Do you have another computer around that works?
In case if you have forgot password, try password recovery option. At last you can try contacting customer care of yahoo to reset your password. They will ask information you saved during your account creation [ for e.g. secret question/answer]
Escalate is a process on FixYa that ensures each and every question you ask receives the attention it deserves. When you ask a question on FixYa it initially goes to our Level 1 Experts. If these experts do not have an answer they can immediately escalate it to our Level 2 Experts, who have more experience solving problems on FixYa and are more likely to have your solution. This same process occurs when Level 2 Experts escalate a question to Level 3. Questions can also be escalated by time-- if your question has not received an answer three hours after being posted it will automatically be escalated to Level 2; no answer after 12 hours of being posted will automatically escalate your question to Level 3.
Hi lje70. FixYa actually does not have a dedicated firearms category, which is why you were unable to find an appropriate category to post. As your question is currently filed under "FixYa" it won't be shown to the best Experts.
I recommend posting your question again. Make sure that you do not click "Get Immediate Assistance". On the page where you enter your question details/product, click the link that says you can't find your product. Then, choose "Camera, Camcorders, & Accessories" in the first column, and either "Rangefinders" or "Spotting Scopes" in the second column. These are the only firearm-related categories on our site, and will give you the best chances of meeting up with an Expert that can answer your question.
