Question about Lucent AT&T Speakerphone 830 (21214)

Open Question

At&t 870 No adapter specifications on either phone or in booklet & at&t 800-222-3111 simply writes it off as a "Limited Support product" (I'll never buy Vtech, V tech or at&t again!!) Radio Shack need voltage, polarity (if DC) & milliamps. Thanks...Keith

There is no drawing or any other marking on this phone... i am also in the same dilemma. But after opening up the phone, the power connector feeds the circuit board in the neighborhood of 4 diodes. Although the physical layout is a little strange the power line has near zero resistance to opposite ends of just 2 diodes per input line. This feels like a bridge rectifier. There is also a 2200uf electrolytic cap and a LM340T5 voltage regulator right in the neighborhood. So i'm guessing this phone wants to be fed by a 9v AC input. To boot my suspicions, in an old box of power supplies I have one with the AT&T logo and it says 9V AC. The fit is just so-so. So... i tried the "smoke test". Phone is working! Answer: 9V AC.

SOURCE: Lucent AT&T 7610 Cordless Phone power supply

It should be labeled on the side of the phone. My best guess would be AC/DC...as to polarity, you would have to look at the drawing on the side by the jack...

Just purchased a PNY 2GB MicroSD with adapter. Formatted in my phone, went fine. Put MicroSD in adapter, and put into slot reader which is in my Canon printer, connected to PC with Windows XP. Always comes...

sounds like the micro card may not be inserted correctly, check that it is in right. if not that, then the adapter may be at fault (bad switch or such)

DRIVER FOR PRINTER NEC870 x WIN7 x64

You could try use the Windows XP SuperScript 870 driver or you could install the HP LaserJet III printer driver. It should work with your printer, but may have limited functionality.
