Re: Cannot Print Using KM1820
Make sure that you downloaded the
correct drivers....Etc... (x64) vs (x86) also make sure you have the
proper script # driver ... Etc... #5.1 vs #6. You will want to
completely uninstall all the old drivers, shut down your computer ---
do not just reboot, reinstall all the new drivers, and after your
computer is done rebooting – shut it down and restart.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

You are ticking the box for 'Print Both Sides' aren't you?
I find it quicker to print Even sides only,
then reload the paper (same order as it comes out printed Even sides) and tell it print Odd sides only
Are you using the Google Cloud Print? If you are, you need to install a software called proxy, as part of the Chrome OS. The proxy will register the printer with the service.
Printer turned on? Classic printer installed on another computer? When you first connected your printer to Google Cloud Print, you had to use another computer to enable the Google Cloud Print connector. Is the computer you used to enable the connector turned on? are you using the same user account you used to connect the printer to Google Cloud Print on your linux? If not, log in using the same Windows, Mac, or Chrome user account you were using when you connected the printer with Google Cloud Print.
If using a cloud ready printer; are you using the same user account you used to connect the printer to Google Cloud Print on your linux? If not, log in using the same Windows, Mac, or
Chrome user account you were using when you connected the printer with Google Cloud Print.
Delete the printer and reconnect the printer with Google Cloud Print. Are there duplicate printers on your Google Cloud Print page? In Google Chrome, select Options > Show advanced settings > Sign out of Google Cloud Print.
Visit the Google Cloud Print page and click on Printers. Delete any duplicate printers (printers with the exact same name) and then sign in to Google Cloud Print again to print.
1.Try doing Ctrl+S and saving the webpage to your computer first. Then open the saved webpage and try printing from there.
2. If that doesn't work, try right clicking in the portion of the page you wish to print, and doing "Print This Frame".
3. If that is not an option, try using Ctrl+P instead of clicking on the print button. This should bring up the print dialog.
4. Otherwise, try using Ctrl+A to select everything, Ctrl+C to copy it, open a new Word document and use Ctrl+V to paste it. Then try printing the Word document.
Good luck! And PLEASE leave me positive feedback!
Press setup (wrench sign button ) button on printer and use arrow keys to goto print reports menu , press OK on print reports menu , under this select fax confirmation and press OK, it will print the confirmation page.
Your problem is your PC parallel port is not configured or turned on. I would first look in the control panel, device manager and see if you have a parallel port listed and it does not have a yellow or red sign on it. If red or yellow then it is on but not configured. See below for that solution.
If it does not appear, reboot your PC and enter the bios. Find the setting for the parallel port and set to enable. If on you can change the setting on what type of parallel it is emulating. Normal is bi-directional IEEE. Then save and restart to go into Windows. Test and print. OK, if the parallel port in the DEVICE MANAGER shows a yellow or red sign on it, it has a bad driver, or bad settings. Un-install the port by right clicking and choose UN-INSTALL. Restart your PC and it should find the parallel port and install it again. Hopefully without the yellow or red sign on it. If the red or yellow sign is back. Look on the internet for the newest driver for your motherboard.
As a note: if you are using a print server or USB to parallel adapter these solutions won't help. You will have other issues to address.
Try opening a picture and printing it, except instead of clicking OK to print, find the button that says preferences and check the setting there. Adjusting these settings should help square up the photo on the paper. You may also try using an option in there called Defaults that will print using default settings and that should print just like it did when you first got the printer.
Could be as simply as the right print margin in the application you are using. Try printing a test page by right-clicking on the printer in Printers and Faxes in Control Panel and select Properties. If the test page prints ok then check the margins in the application you are using - usually File>Page Setup. The right margin could be set to 5.0 in instead of 0.5 in.
first install the printer onto the computer, downloading the drivers or using printer disk. If your printer is already installed on your computer and working you do not need to install it , skip this step.
Then download pictures onto computer, using USB cable.
open downloaded picture by double clicking with left mouse button. Once you open the picture with picture viewer open file menu and chose print, or click the small printer sign.
If you use oprint preview iit may be easier for you to change printer settings to print the pictures.
