First make sure it's still plugged in and that you haven't tripped a breaker. Temporarily move the machine to another area of the house. If you still have no power... take a good look and sniff at your foot pedal (smell burnt?) It may need replacing.

Other than that, I would recommend taking it in. Sergers are tricky and I would not recommend trying to service yourself.

Have the Ruby Royale, the bobbin thread is coming to the top side of fabric, not getting full color. Have retreaded, new bobbin, no luck. It's a new machine and worked beautifully this morning.

Tension is probably the problem. Sewing heats up the machine and the tension discs may not like it. Also be sure that your thread, fabric and needle are correct. The wrong needle ( too big?) may draw too much thread from the bobbin.

My machine has suddenlty stopped working. The top thread is not catching the bobbin thread and so it is not sewing????

You may want to take it back where it was serviced. The timing may need to be tweaked. Also, the broken needle may have knocked it out of time. Be sure to check it again with a brand new needle first--very slowly. Confirm that you are installing the needle properly--flat side facing the correct direction, pushed up all the way, and it is the correct needle for your machine. If it is still hitting, then it definitely needs some service.

Unlock brothers LS2125i sewing machine

Is the thread caught in gear in top of machine causing it to bind. If you refilled bobbin did the gear switch back completely or you have lost an o ring in bobbin rewind.

Setting the tension for a 3 thread wide serger stitch

The tension depends on the thickness of the knits. Have you checked with the manufacturer about this problem? Check their website too, you may find the answer there. I wish I could help more. Good Luck!

My machine is stitching beautifully but is incredibly loud and seems to have a lot of resistance on the flywheel- it only goes when the pedal is completely engaged. Its free of fluff and I've oiled it in...

it might be a good time to have the sewing machine checked
to see if there is a part that may be going bad, or the machine may need some type of adjustment.

The hook on my singer 758 isn't moving.

Take it in for repair. It's probably broken some plastic part inside.

Nothng happens when I step on the foot peddle

Check the pins on the machine plug to make sure none have been pushed in, check the cables for any breaks but make sure the plug is out of the wall first, if you can undo the plug on the lead to check it all well and good, failing that take the foot control and lead into a sewing machine shop so it can be tested

Machine has stopped completely

This model is known to blow the fuse (3.0 amp) in the power board. A repair shop can replace it with a new style one (3.15 amp).

Good luck!
